clients are constantly asking if their brand is actually showing up in ai responses. most of us are still just guessing because there isn't a single dashboard that gives a clear answer yet. i found some ways to track measurable signals from current data sources instead of relying on vibes. it helps to focus on things like brand mentions and direct citations in the training sets. it is basically just tracking a new type of organic visibility . anyone else figured out a way to pull actual numbers for this?

tracking mentions in training sets is a bit of a stretch since those datasets are essentially black boxes. how are you actually verifying if a mention is from the original training data versus just a recent crawl?
