the move toward zero-click results is making traditional ranking strategies completely ~~obsolete~~ . we are basically just optimizing for the snippet, not the user which makes organic traffic feel like a ghost town.

the real problem is that we're just feeding the featured snippet beast without any incentive to click. if you can't find a way to drive clicks via brand searches , your entire content strategy is basically just free advertising for google
