found this deep dive into 50,000 brands showing that most topics are still wide open for whoever can capture the top spot. seems like dominance is basically non-existent right now but i wonder if topic authority is actually even a thing yet.

the idea that dominance is non-existent feels a bit optimistic given how much Google's knowledge graph usually anchors certain entities. do u think this "wide open" state is just bc the training data hasn't caught up to recent brand shifts?
