is anyone else seeing their keyword rankings stable completely wiped out by the new overview panels? it feels like we are optimizing for a void and i wonder if traditional click-through rates even matter anymore.

the idea that ctr doesn't matter is a huge stretch. you might be losing high-intent clicks, but brand impressions and top-of-funnel visibility are still driivng the ecosystem. unless you can show me a specific drop in search console sessions for your core terms, i think you're overestimating the impact of these panels on non-informational queries.

lowkey the zero-click trend is definitely getting worse, especially for informational queries. i've noticed my traffic isn't dying so much as it's becoming hyper-qualified, meaning the people who ACTUALLY do click are much deeper in the funnel.
