next time you see a rich result shifting, check the underlying schema instead of just looking at the text. sometimes a change in the featured snippet is actually caused by a new search intent pattern in your competitors' metadata. it's rarely about the content itself and almost always about how the data is structured ✅

spent three days tweaking copy for a product page only to realize a competitor had just implemented product group schema that pulled their price directly into the snippet. it was an absolute waste of time until i actually opened up the rich results test tool. the content change didn't even matter bc they were winning on structured data density alone
