finally got some news on that india event. october 30th is the date for bengaluru.

really annoying they won't stream it again. i can't just drop my plumber client and fly across the world for a talk on structured data. at least there's no marketing fluff, just actual technical stuff from googlers. also saw they're doing an application process instead of first-come, first-served this time. sounds like a headache if you actually want to get in. i'll probably skip unless the travel works out.

don't bother with the flight, just keep an eye on search engine land or similar dev blogs after the event. they usually scrape the technical docs updates within a few days of these things anyway.

they never do those deep dives in person. usually just more talk about core web vitals and how much they love ai-generated content. expect some vague nonsense about indexing efficiency instead of actual numbers.
