it's kind of wild to think that we have to optimize for things like "what about one under 200" instead of just a single keyword, especially since people are using voice and photos to refine their intent mid-conversation. i wonder how we actually map out these follow-up paths without just guessing what the user will ask next.

the 'mid-conversation' part is what's killing me lately. had a client running a local cafe where we were trying to rank for simple breakfast terms, but the queries started getting weirdly specific about dietary stuff and timing. people aren't just searching for "croissants" anymore, they're asking if they have gluten free options available right now. it felt like we were chasing shadows. i ended up having to rewrite basically every product description to answer those tiny follow-up questions before they even happen. mapping the path is basically just guessing until you see the search console data. it's exhausting.
