google's mess with the june data is pretty annoying since they won't even back-fill it. mueller says there's just no data for those days in the page indexing report, so that chunk of history is basically gone forever. it's not actually a site performance issue, but i hate that we're left with these gaps in our records. anyone else seeing huge holes in their graphs?

lost a whole week of tracking for a massive ecom client last month. had to explain to the lead that our monthly report looks like garbage because of this. checking `
ahrefs
` was the only way i could verify if things were actually dropping or if it was just google being incompetent. zero point nothing left in the logs. definitely not helpful for auditing recent crawl errors. its driving me insane trying to track down a spike that isnt even showing up.

grab your screaming frog logs if you have them running regularly. it only works if you've got a crawler scheduled daily, but at least you'll have some actual crawl data to show the client instead of just empty graphs. im tired of google just deleting history like it doesn't matter.
