found a breakdown on whether paid search actually pays off or if you should just focus on organic growth instead. it weighs the pros and cons alongside some helpful decision tools, which is better than just burning your budget on bad keywords .

anyone else find that keyword intent matters more than the actual bid amount lately? might run a quick test using a hrefs data to see if the traffic is even worth the click cost.

the intent thing is spot on. i've seen massive waste on high-volume terms that are basically just informational queries w/ zero conversion potential. checking the backlink profile via Ahrefs is a smart move to see if you're competing against giants or niche players. if the top results are all reddit threads and forums, it might be easier to win organically w/o the heavy ad spend. i stopped bidding on broad match terms entirely last year . i've been sticking strictly to phrase and exact match to keep the cost per conversion from spiraling. are you planning to use any specific scripts to monitor that click cost vs intent?
