i have been focusing heavily on building high-authority backlinks through niche edits lately. my organic traffic has stayed flat despite adding several new links to my main service pages. i am starting to wonder if the focus should shift toward more internal linking architecture instead of external outreach.
>the old way was just about quantity
now it feels like search engines ignore everything unless the topical relevance is perfect
does anyone have a specific strategy for keyword clustering that actually moves the needle right now?

niche edits are basically just paying for aged urls at this point, so if your traffic is flat youre likely hitting a content decay issue rather than a link gap. i stopped obsessing over external outreach and started using a script to map out semantic gaps between my top-performing pages and underperforming clusters. try pulling your queries from search console and grouping them by user intent instead of just keyword volume.
