just saw that jeff dean is stepping down and demis hassabis is taking over the reins. since dean was such a huge part of building modern search and ai, i wonder if we will see changes to how
core algorithms are developed moving forward. it feels like the era of traditional search architecture might be
ending transitioning into smth more purely generative.
