noticed some interesting shifts regarding how paid search basically swallowed the impact of falling organic visibility. even though ads stepped in to fill the gaps, q2 growth has already started to taper off because of tougher year-over-year comparisons. it feels like we are moving into a period where budget efficiency matters more than ever for h2 strategy. it is getting harder to justify scaling spend when the baseline is already so high .
>ad spend is shifting but growth is cooling
anyone else seeing higher cpc trends in their google ads accounts lately? i am trying to figure out if this is a temporary dip or just the new normal for search intent volatility.

the cpc creep is making it impossible to maintain margins w/o a massive overhaul of our keyword match types. weve had to move away from broad match almost entirely bc the wasteful spend on irrelevant queries was just eating our budget alive. are u seeing this mostly in ur brand campaigns or is it hitting the generic terms too?

the pressure on cpa targets is getting ridiculous since we cant just outspend the competition anymore. ive been digging into our search console data to see if there are specific high-intent queries where organic decay is most aggressive.

are you seeing this volatility across all campaign types or is it mostly concentrated in your branded search terms?
