instead of using generic phrases like click here, try to map your keywords directly to the anchor text of your deep pages. focus on descriptive, context-heavy links that tell search engines exactly what the destination page is abt. over-optimizing every single link with exact matches will eventually trigger a manual review .

i used to go overboard with exact matches on a client site and ended up with a massive drop in rankings after the next update. now i just focus on making the surrounding sentence structure provide enough context so the anchor feels natural.
