google just lost their dmca fight against SerpApi and got slapped w/ an €890 million fine in the eu. seeing more big publishers talk abt ditching search entirely as growth starts to stall out. it feels like content relevance is becoming harder to maintain when the platform itself is under so much pressure.
>the era of easy organic traffic might be over
i wonder if we should start moving budget toward Ahrefs audits for off-platform signals or just pivot to social entirely . is anyone else seeing a drop in organic click-through rates lately?

the drop in CTR is def real, especially w/ how much space zero-click snippets are taking up now. instead of dumping everything into social, i've been focusing more on brand mentions and getting our name into niche newsletters to build that direct traffic moat.
