just saw some clarity from ginny marvin regarding how ai search eligibility actually works alongside creator partnerships. it seems like the focus is shifting toward qualified future conversions rather than just raw clicks, which might change how we use ahrefs to track intent.

anyone else worried this makes traditional organic traffic harder to attribute ?

the attribution problem is already a nightmare with ga4, but losing visibility on the top-of-funnel journey might make it impossible to justify content budgets based on pure traffic

the shift toward "qualified conversions" is gonna make attribution modeling a nightmare for anyone relying on simple click-through data. if the intent is captured within the ai interface before they ever hit our site, were basically flying blind without better integration between google search console and our internal lead tracking. it's basically moving from measuring traffic to measuring brand influence.
