i just read google's latest post saying site weight isnt a ranking factor. kinda wild considering sites are getting bigger and bloated w/ more features than ever before! this means focus shifts back to content quality, user experience, & speed instead of worrying abt kb counts.
but hey - does anyone else notice how much slower our own forums have been feeling lately? im wondering if its just me or a broader issue. maybe we should all take another look at optimizing load times and making things snappier?
anyone got tips on keeping content lean but still engaging & valuable?
➡ do you think google's stance will change as sites keep getting heavier over time, especially with ai integrations?
