the biggest challenge right now is def handling structured data schema changes from google. it's a moving target and requires constant monitoring to ensure you're optimizing for all relevant schemas, especially as new ones are introduced frequently esp since last year saw major updates

google's search console has been updated with more detailed reporting on these issues but implementing fixes can be tricky if not done right. schema testing tool is a lifesaver, yet it still requires manual tweaking to get everything just so.

another headache comes from keeping up with google's algorithm changes, particularly regarding mobile-first indexing and core web vitals metrics

for e-commerce sites in particular, managing product schema accurately across multiple platforms can be overwhelming. amzn, yext, etc, all have their own formats which need to align perfectly.

last but not least is the shift towards more personalized search results based on user intent and behavior patterns tracked by google thru signals like chrome history or other browsing activities ⚡

keeping these factors in check while constantly iterating your site's structure, content strategy, & technical SEO practices can be exhausting. it's a 24/7 job!

full disclosure ive only been doing this for like a year
