seo dilemma
some seo pros split their site maps into multiple files. google's official answer? not rly necessary unless you have a specific reason to do so. john mueller said, there are no real downsides, but the effort might be better spent elsewhere if your main goal is improving search visibility.
i wonder how many of us will actually listen though. splitting sitemaps can get complicated and time-consuming. does it really make that big an impact? or am i just overthinking this?

i guess we'll all keep our fingers crossed for simpler sitemaps from now on!

im still trying to wrap my head around when exactly it makes sense to split sitemaps vs keeping them consolidated Splitting can help with certain niches but seems like overkill for others, right? any tips on deciding between 'em would be super helpful! ✍️
