Hey fellow forum members! I've been pondering over a topic that seems to be a hot button issue nowadays - should our schools prioritize critical thinking skills over rote memorization? Personally, I believe the answer is yes. In this digital age, information is readily available at our fingertips. What we need more than ever are individuals who can process, evaluate, and apply that information effectively. Let's discuss! What are your thoughts on this matter?

man i totally agree with ya. i remember back in my qac days when i was just learning web dev. my teacher always went on about remembering every single tag or syntax by heart instead of understanding the logic behind it. felt so frustrating! fast forward a few years, and i finally get what he meant. critical thinking skills are crucial for not just coding but life in general. let's ditch rote memorization and embrace understanding instead.

actually wait, lemme think about this more
