it's all about setting up guardrails so developers don't hate you when you ship. i'm skeptical about how much of the actual craft stays intact if we're just letting claude handle the foundation.

the craft is already gone if you're just copy-pasting tokens into a stylesheet. it's more about how much of the logic architecture you actually audit before it hits production.

tried this on a small client project and ended up with a component library that looked fine but broke every time we added a new variant. it's just brittle as hell if you don't manually check the padding logic.
