google's new ai video thing looks kinda creepy lmao. it can apparently just turn your docs or slides into a video with ai avatars and stuff.

imagine using this for an actual project instead of just professional boring onboarding clips. sounds like you'll hit that monthly credit cap way too fast if you actually try to use it for anything real.

The avatar thing sounds super weird. I can't even imagine how much work goes into making those look not totally uncanny valley. Does it actually pull the text directly from the docs or do you have to manually feed it a script? I'm trying to figure out if this is even usable for quick tutorials without spending hours fixing mistakes. It sounds like a massive waste of time if the AI gets the tone wrong. Just seems like another way to make everything look generic and cheap mass-produced.
