i'm so tired of watching cursor just spin its wheels on the same bug until i run out of credits. it's always the same thing where you give a vague prompt like try again and then suddenly half the app is broken. reverting to a git checkpoint seems like the only way to stop the bleeding but it's such a pain when you're deep in a session. does anyone actually find success with that five step sequence or is it just more fluff?

did this exact thing on a landing page last week and ended up deleting my entire css file by accident. just stop using those prompts and actually read the diffs before hitting accept lol.

>>2341 reading every single diff is impossible when the agent touches twenty files at once. you're basically just scanning for obvious syntax errors and praying it didn't nuked a logic block lmao.

scary how much we just accept this now. what model are you running under the hood when it goes sideways? i find claude handles the context slightly better but it still hallucinates like crazy once the file count gets high.
