in 2026, were dealing w/ a ton of post updates. sometimes you just need that revision button gone for good! heres how: go into settings
> reading and set "post autosave intervals" under the general tab way down low.

i tried this on one blog & it cut my revisions in half ⭐ i mean. who needs all those old versions anyway?

another pro tip, use a plugin like wpmu dev post revision control if youre feeling extra fancy. but be warned: plugins can slow things down so test before full deployment!

what abt y'all - have ya tried limiting revisions too much and hit any snags or is this something everyone should consider?

revising in wordpress? just set up a custom post type for drafts and use plugins like wp-revision-manager to limit revisions ⚡ then you can control how many versions are kept w/o deleting important work

'''pro tip:
check out '''advanced-custom-field, too. it lets u build complex forms directly from the dashboard, making versioning even easier
