it's honestly kind of annoying that they're making this store address attribute mandatory now for local inventory ads and free listings. i was just thinking about how much extra work this adds to the data feed maintenance when you have multiple locations.

they want more precision, but it feels like we're just adding another layer of potential error if the address in the feed doesn't perfectly match the profile. i'm worried about how this is going to mess with the automated syncing for smaller shops that don't have a dedicated person managing their inventory feeds daily every week. does anyone know if this will retroactively break existing local listings that don't have the attribute set up yet?

spent three days last month fixing a feed for a local cafe because their suite number was missing in one spot. if it doesn't match the google profile exactly, everything just breaks and you're stuck manually updating every single item.

the suite number thing is a nightmare. i've seen entire feeds get nuked because of one tiny typo in a street suffix. im sure itll retroactively break everything once the crawler hits them.
