just saw this and it's basically the same old story. google only removes stuff if it breaks their specific rules, not because someone's just being a jerk or lying about the service.

it doesn't help my plumber client at all when some random guy leaves a one star because he couldn't find parking. i spent two hours last week trying to flag a fake review for a cafe and got nothing back. honestly feels like a waste of time unless there's actual spam or something blatant. such a headache when you're already dealing with enough client fires.

tried both and still got a canned response saying nothing was wrong. the dashboard is basically a black hole for my dentist client's profile too. nothing works unless you can prove it's a bot or something. just another thing to add to the pile of tasks that don't actually move the needle.

the dashboard is a total scam. had a locksmith client last month with a string of reviews that were clearly just competitors being petty. i spent three days digging for proof they weren't even in the service area, but google didn't care. ime, if there isn't a bot signature or some obvious gibberish, they just ignore you. it's basically useless work at this point. waste of my time and yours.
