it's wild how much people ignore things like descriptions and logos. if you look at a few different branches and the categories or photos don't match, it makes the whole company look fake. i've seen so many franchises with perfect messy data that makes them look like separate businesses entirely. even just having different phone numbers or services listed across maps kills any trust you were trying to build. it's not just about name and address anymore. everything from the imagery to the service details has to be uniform if you actually want people to believe in the brand. do you guys think managing this at scale is even possible without some massive enterprise software?

you can use brightlocal for the smaller stuff but it'll break your wallet if you have hundreds of locations. just build a simple master spreadsheet with every single attribute and use a vlookup to check against your live listings. works fine for audits but don't try using it to actually push updates across maps. manual entry is still the only way to be 100% sure

>>2209 vlookup is fine until you realize someone messed up the formatting on a single cell and now your whole audit is garbage. i tried that for a client with 50 locations and ended up staring at a screen for three hours crying because of one rogue comma. it's much harder than just checking data when you have to deal with unstructured mess from third party aggregators.
