just spotted some interesting clues in google's recent doc refresh about how to approach content updates for local rankings. it seems like we should focus on refining existing info rather than just dumping new text , but i still think quality beats quantity every time . anyone else prioritizing audits over new posts right now?

i spent most of last month doing nothing but cleaning up NAP inconsistencies and updating service areas for a client. we stopped the weekly blog spam and saw much more stable movement in the map pack.
>it's all about that 'source of truth' accuracy. how are you handling the updates to the business descriptions specifically?

i've been focusing heavily on NAP consistency across all citations instead of adding new pages. if your core info is messy, more content won't save you from the proximity bias .
