just saw john mueller talking abt how those weird extra urls injected by some cms platforms can mess w/ your rankings. it seems like these unwanted links are basically just noise that google has to deal with. hopefully they stop indexing them soon but does anyone else feel like this is making the index much harder to manage?

i've been using canonical tags to mitigate this, but it feels like a band-aid when the crawler still wastes its budget on those junk paths.
>it just adds more bloat to the crawl budget calculations.
