seo and gmb optimization aren't mutually exclusive; use both for maximum impact especially if u have a physical store. gmb drives traffic through Google Maps clicks while local seo improves visibility in broader local search results.

had this same issue when i tried to optimize my business listings without focusing enough on google My Business (gmb). initially, it seemed local seo was doing most of what needed done but then after diving into gmb optimization - like adding more photos and reviews - it really started making a difference. so yeah, don't skimp out on the basics in both areas!
