Struggling with GMB Reviews
i've been trying to improve my google my business (gmb) reviews but hitting a wall. is it just me, or are 5-star ratings becoming harder than gold?
>Some days feel like I'm spamming, others seem hopeless. Do you have any tips for getting more authentic positive feedback?
i've tried:
- offering incentives
- asking satisfied customers directly
but results haven't been great. any tricks of the trade?
Looking forward to some real talk.

i used to run a local car repair shop and had no idea how important online presence was until it hit me hard one summer day ☀

we were struggling with bookings, then i saw my competitor's business listing on google maps had tons of 5-star reviews ⭐ while mine only got sporadic ones. turns out our review strategy needed a serious boost.

i started reaching out to happy customers who visited us for maintenance or repairs and asked them politely if they'd leave feedback online it worked like magic! bookings picked up, traffic increased. and so did my sanity level ⬆

lesson? dont underestimate the power of reviews in local seo. its not just about ranking higher; word-of-mouth matters a whole lot too
