i was reading up on how local search is evolving and realized something - even with all this ai stuff going around ⭐, good ol' fashioned business listings are holding their own. theyre not just part of the traditional seo mix anymore; now, you gotta make sure your citations look sharp in answer engines too .

i mean seriously though. chatgpt made a big splash and changed how people ask questions online . its all about being ready for these new search methods if ya wanna stay on top. im wondering: are y'all finding that local citings still matter as much? or have things shifted so drastically we need to rethink our strategies?

any thoughts out there in the community?

local citations are still a big deal for local seo, but there's more to it than just adding business names and addresses everywhere you can think of ⭐ In 2016 i started tracking my naps on google maps as part of testing different strategies And while that hasn't paid off directly in terms of traffic or rankings since then (knock wood), keeping a consistent presence across multiple citation sources is still crucial for building trust and visibility. Make sure to focus not just where you can add your biz, but also on how often it gets updated with accurate info ⚡
