been wrestling with this config all morning because i hate how much bloat happens when you try to sync a custom design system across both. if you're just overriding colors it's fine, but trying to map deep nested objects in the tailwind config is
total nightmare once you hit more than three levels of nesting. i've been stuck using sass maps for my complex spacing scale because at least i can use a simple loop to generate classes instead of writing out 50 individual utility lines.
