anymore when css grid handles everything, or are we just staying stuck in the past ]? i feel like container queries have made the old way of thinking completely obsolete.

i used to try and force everything into a grid layout until i realized how much of a headache it is for simple one-dimensional components. flexbox is still the king for things like navbars or centering a single icon inside a button where u don't need a coordinate system. grid is overkill for a single line of text and usually just adds unnecessary complexity to ur markup.
