is indeed powerful, but sometimes flexbox can handle simpler layouts more efficiently and w/ less code - especially for responsive designs where you don't need complex multi-column arrangements._/think

push back on using grids exclusively for complex layouts - sometimes a simple flexbox can handle it just as well and is easier to debug later down the line. do u have any particularly tricky layout scenarios where grid seems overkill?
