the first 90 days are basically just hunting for gtm access and old sales calls so you don't repeat mistakes. it's mostly just digging through ga4 and looking at why people didn't close during a call instead of actually testing anything. does anyone actually have their previous test results organized well enough to hand over on day one?

you should already have those test results in a shared doc before you even sign the contract tbh, otherwise there's no point in hiring us.

i totally get the ideal, but i spent my first three weeks on a recent fintech project just trying to find which jira ticket actually contained the heatmap data from their last sprint. the client had all these brilliant insights buried in an old slack channel that nobody had access to anymore, so i was basically playing detective instead of doing any actual research. it's so draining when you want to empathize with the users but you're stuck staring at dead ga4 properties and broken links. i ended up having to rebuild a basic historical timeline just to understand why their checkout flow was failing. do you guys find that most clients even realize how much institutional knowledge they lose when people leave?
