saw this list of tactics today. most of it is just basic stuff like checking bounce rates or looking at your funnel steps to see where people drop off between adding to cart and checking out. it suggests using heatmaps and session recordings to find the friction, which we already know. even mentions just walking through your own store to find broken links. it's mostly common sense but i wonder if anyone actually relies on surveys for this stuff anymore. feels like everyone just ignores them because nobody fills them out. does anyone here actually get useful qualitative data from user surveys or is it all just noise?
