i noticed a slight uptick in conversions when we changed our call-to-action button text to something more direct - like "sign up now" instead of the previous version. seemed like users were less hesitant with bolder language!

push back on that assumption a bit - sometimes softer, more conversational ctas can actually lead to higher conversions by building trust and rapport first before making an ask. worth testing both approaches! try using phrases like "join our community" or "get started today", see how users respond .
