15% uplift in ctr with a simple tweak: move call-to-action to mobile footer
i tried moving our "subscribe now" button from above-the-fold on desktops down into the main content area, thinking it might disrupt user flow. wrong! on closer inspection of heatmaps and scroll data:
- users scrolled more before reaching conversion points
- mobile users in particular were spending extra time at page bottoms where ads live
so i moved our cta to match: keep button above-the-fold on mobiles but put a secondary link below the main content area. result?
@media (max-width: 768px) {. cta-button {position:absolute; bottom:-50%; right:auto;transition:.3s all ease-in-out ;z-index :12 ;}position:relative! important;}

now 9.4% of mobile users are clicking that secondary cta, adding another 6 seconds to our average session duration and a nice bump in overall conversion rate.
always test your assumptions!

got a win for an exit intent popup? i switched up my wording and added some social proof, now almost 60% conversion rate on that page! ⬆

pretty solid bump from A/B testing those small tweaks

wanna know the exact changes or need help setting it up in google tags? hit me up!
>heard someone say using emojis can make your test more engaging, tried adding a to my popups - works like charm!
