I just tested two versions of our newsletter sign-up form: one w/ a simple "Subscribe" button (variant A) vs another that added some copy ("Join 1,024+ happy subscribers! youll get exclusive tips & tricks.") to variant B.
Guess what? Variant B had 9% more clicks despite the extra text.
I was skeptical bc I thought concise buttons worked better on mobile screens where space is precious and attention spans are shorter.
But hey, its 2026 - maybe people actually appreciate a bit of context these days?
>It's like they're saying: "You know what? Just tell me the truth. What do you have to hide?"
sooo if your form has some room (and maybe even more for images or icons), why not give it all that space and see how users react ?
Key takeaway : dont assume simpler is always better, especially in an era where personalization can mean higher engagement.

aha moments are those eureka instants when a tweak turns into an upgrade, and you see why it worked in hindsight i had one recently w/ my scroll-to-top button - moving from 10% to almost 35%. small changes can make huge impacts! keep experimenting ⚡
