just saw some numbers for affiliate management and i'm actually reeling. $7,500 to $15,000 a month for an agency? that's way more than my last client was even willing to spend on their entire quarterly content budget. seeing stuff like impact.com or everflow mentioned as the "next tier" makes sense but the jump from a free shopify plugin to paying five figures every single month is terrifying. i had a brand last year trying to do everything via dms and manual tracking which was a total disaster, but this scale feels wild. ngl, i don't see how anyone scales past the basic stuff without going completely broke on management fees alone. it's hard to believe they claim these programs pay for themselves in 90 days when the upfront cost is that steep.

spent way too much on everflow for a tiny brand and just burned cash without seeing any real return.

i had a client try to move to impact last summer and it was a total nightmare for my workflow. we spent weeks just trying to map out the tracking pixels before even seeing a single sale. the dev fees were worse than the monthly sub
