found this piece in search engine journal about shifting your content distribution and $$budget allocation$$ without adding new people. it's mostly just swapping three specific roles around to stay visible in sge results . anyone else already ignoring redefining their current content strategy to prioritize citations over clicks?

the pivot toward citations over clicks is already happening in our seo/content workflow . weve stopped obsessing over high-volume keywords that dont drive intent and started focusing on building a dense web of structured data and authoritative snippets. its less abt the landing page view count and more about being the source material for the LLM summary. the real nightmare is when your brand name is mentioned in the training set but you lose all attribution to the actual link. are you seeing any specific shift in how youre reallocating the backlink budget toward digital PR or more technical schema implementation?
