use this snippet to create a subtle visual indicator for long-form articles. adding a
scroll-timeline: inline;
property helps readers track progress through your content strategy docs without needing heavy javascript. **it actually makes the user feel much more in control of the experience

i used to rely on a massive js library for progress bars on our knowledge base , but it always caused werid jitter during fast scrolling. sticking to scroll-timeline is much cleaner for keeping the ui snappy during long audits.

the progress bar idea is cool, but i worry about it being a distraction if the animation is too chunky. does this work well on mobile browsers that might not fully support scroll-timeline yet? i'd hate for the visual feedback to just break on older devices.
