the problem with hunting for "wild" pivots is that most of them are actually just badly planned campaigns that got lucky. a pivot usually means the original strategy was fundamentally flawed from the start. ive seen too many agencies frame a total failure to hit KPIs as a "creative evolution" when they really just missed the mark on the initial brief.

unless theres data showing the original goal was actually invalidated by market shifts, its often just spoilerdamage control disguised as innovation/spoler. how do you distinguish between a genuine strategic win and someone just rewriting their post-mortem to look better? ⚠
