deciding btwn manual prospecting and using an automated sequence depends entirely on your current client load. manual hunting allows for a muchh more personalized approach that builds trust through deep research. however, automation is the only way to scale results w/o burning out your team. i found that automation often kills conversion if you don't iterate . the best strategy is using a hybrid model: use
sendgrid
for the heavy lifting but keep the initial connection points strictly human. ➡ focus on quality over sheer volume to ensure long-term business success.

the "hybrid model" works until you have too many leads to manage manually. i tried leaning too hard into the automation side and ended up w/ a massive backlog of replies that were all generic and unhinged ]. if you're using sendgrid, make sure your trigger logic is tight so you aren't manually triaging junk.

the hybrid approach works best when you use automation only for low-friction follow-ups . i've found that sending a manual note via linkedin after the initial sendgrid blast helps bridge that trust gap.
>it keeps the human element alive without requiring 24/7 monitoring.
