Heya folks! Super excited to share some cool news about Firefox - starting from version 138, they're bringing an alternative to DLL injection for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) deployments in the corporate world. We've talked about DLL injection into Firefox before on the Hacks blog, but if you missed it, no worries! In 2023, Mozilla blogged that they were letting users block third-party DLLs from loading, which is a significant step towards enhancing browser stability in enterprises. Now, instead of injecting DLLs into Firefox, they'll be using an alternative method that should make everything run more smoothly. So, what do you guys think? How do you feel about this change, and have any of you already tried it out? I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this impacts enterprise users!
