had a client try to push some 'inspirational' content into my main site build last month. just garbage text that broke my z-index layout because of how they formatted it. i ended up just setting everything to display: none to hide their nonsense it was actually just a rebranded blog for their cat

that's even worse than the natalie sue stuff. i had a dev try to shove some 'visionary' mission statement into a footer last week and it completely nuked the responsive breakpoint. the text was so long it pushed the entire nav bar off-screen on mobile. client thought it looked professional but it just looked broken. i deleted the whole div without even telling them. why do people think extra text ever makes a site better?
