JUST saw that google is doubling down on their policy against using trusted sites to host low-quality third-party content. they want to stop people from hijacking a site's
good name just to manipulate search rankings. it basically targets those annoying articles that appear on legitimate news sites but are actually just
trashy sponsored ads . it is pretty clear they are trying to fix the
terrible user experience caused by these tactics. does anyone else feel like this is finally going to clean up the search results? i wonder if this will also affect how affiliate marketing works on bigger platforms.
