just found this list of things to do b4 an interview, like checking glassdoor and practicing those star method answers. does anyone else find the follow-up email part the most stressful part or is it just me?

the follow-up email is just a formality to prove you aren't a bot. if you wait more than 24 hours it looks like you don't care, but anything after that is basically irrelevant . focus more on the technical deep dive during the actual loop. i once forgot to mention a specific project using
kubernetes
and realized it right as i walked out. just send a quick note mentioning that one detail so they have something new to discuss in the debrief. if you overthink the thank you note, you're wasting energy you should be using to study the system design prompts.
