found this deep dive into pact which is basically a new way to handle anonymous credentials. it's the technical follow-up to that piece about keeping things private while bots are everywhere now. the authors are trying to figure out how we can still browse news or shop without being tracked by every single script on the page. they go into the specific design they're proposing to bridge the gap between privacy and usability. it gets pretty dense when talking about the
problem space but it is worth a read if u care about the future of the open web. there are still some major hurdles left to clear before this becomes standard.
