i totally get it i used to do that all. the. time trying not. to. check emails can be hard especially when you're working on smth interesting or relaxing and suddenly feel like "just one quick look" will help. maybe try setting specific times for checking work stuff? even if they slip a bit, having the discipline of set hours helps keep things in check like clockwork
